About Baadbaan Foundation
Born from decades of friendship and shared commitment to uplifting our society — registered, transparent, and driven by purpose.
Co-Founders
Friends with 50 years of association from Cadet College Hasanabdal, Petaro, and the 1975 entry of Pakistan Navy.
The founders recognized their social responsibility to help those in need and took steps to create a formal entity for this purpose. Baadbaan Welfare Trust was established in 2019. The Trust was transformed into Baadbaan Foundation in 2023, duly registered with the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
This transformation represents a progression in our organisational structure and scope of activities — aimed at a more organized and sustainable approach to our charitable endeavors.

Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah (R)
21st Chief of Naval Staff. Sword of Honour recipient. Twice Asian Games Gold medallist. Chairman since inception in 2019.
Cdre Muhammad Javid Ghani (R)
Cadet College Hasan Abdal (1970-75). 35+ years in Pakistan Navy. Former Deputy MD Bahria Foundation. CEO since inception.
Vice Admiral Shafqat Jawed (R)
Four-decade Naval career. Former Chairman Karachi Port Trust. Graduate of Naval War College (USA) and NDU Islamabad.
R. Adm. Khawaja Shahid Saeed (R)
Submarines specialist. MBA from IBA, MSc Engineering from UK. Former Pro Rector Bahria University.
Cdre Misbahuddin Chohan (R)
34 years in Pakistan Navy. Post-retirement served TCF, ERRA, and Bahria College as founding Principal.
Dr. Syed M. Kamran Majeed
FRCS, Diploma Urology (London). Former DG KRL Medical Services. Consultant at Shifa International. Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
Muhammad Javed Cheema
IT pioneer. Software house founder in Manhattan. Led multi-million dollar AI projects. Expanded to Canada, Kuwait, Dubai.
Masroor Zaman Malik
ACCA qualified. 19+ years finance experience across UK, UAE, Pakistan. Director at CBMC Group of Companies.
